I’ve been lax about keeping everyone updated, but it’s been a very busy week!
- Last Thursday, we signed the contract for our 10BBL brewhouse: mash tun, brew kettle, fermenters, brite tanks, keg washers/fillers, and all the rest of it. That should take about 60 days to get built, and another 30 to get shipped. So we’re expecting it around the end of September/beginning of October.
- On Tuesday, we got our Notification of Allowance from the Patent and Trademark Office! That should mean that we’ll avoid anything like the recent conflicts around trade names that seem to be on the increase across the craft brewing, winery, distillery industries.
- Later that evening we met with our architect, general contractor, and mechanical and electrical engineers at the new space. The landlord work is progressing well, and I’ll get pictures up tomorrow. They currently have a target date of July 24th, which should put our construction finishing up in early September. We ironed out a bunch of details, and we’re pretty pleased with how the design is progressing.
- On Wednesday we finally got the official address from the City of Centennial. We’re officially 5150 E. Arapahoe Rd, Unit D1-B, Centennial, CO, 80122. That means that we can finally get our TTB application in this weekend, and begin the process for getting our Brewers Notice. Unfortunately they have been averaging around 120 days to process, so that would put us sometime around the middle of November. Hopefully it won’t take that long!
So we’re back into “hurry up” mode after a lot of “wait!”
