“How’s your brewery coming along?”

I frequently get asked “How’s your brewery coming along?” My answer: “Slowly!”

While there isn’t exactly a lot to show for it yet, we’re still hard at work on all of the details of opening a brewery. Our landlord still has to split the space, put in bathrooms, and so on — even before we can take possession of the space. We’re working with our architect on the plans for our new space, negotiating with the manufacturer on our brewhouse equipment, starting our licensing process, choosing a general contractor, and finding a company to work with on our sign.

We’re also looking at things like glassware, shirts, and other merchandise…and we’re hoping to use all of our newfound shwag to start a crowdfunding initiative, and we’re really hoping that all of you will get involved and help us!

As we have new news and progress we’ll be posting it here, and we look forward to your feedback!

Making your dreams come true is a process. We welcome you to the area. As far as your signage goes I happen to work at Speedpro and can get you a fair price on material, print and installation. We recently did the signage for The Boggy Draw. Best of luck on your new adventure.

What styles of English beer should we expect? browns, wee heavys, esb, etc…?

In our everyday lineup we have an Oatmeal Stout that is my favorite winter beer (and probably my favorite overall), as well as an Irish Red that’s a great all-around beer. We will probably have a Wee Heavy as a seasonal for the holidays, and an ESB that still needs one more batch to really finalize the recipe. I’ll have to work on a brown and a porter one of these days, too!
